It was a proper cat-fight when Gilmer took on Adairsville on Thursday. The Bobcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Gilmer's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-11. As for Adairsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Gilmer will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against LaFayette at 5:00 p.m. The Ramblers will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Adairsville, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Heritage on the 4th.
