Baseball Recap: Bonney Lake Takes a Loss

Bonney Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 9-3 to the Rogers Rams.

Jayden Ortiz-Ruiz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Jeht Sibucao also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Bonney Lake's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Rogers, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11.

Coming up, Bonney Lake will head out on the road to square off against Yelm at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rogers, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Puyallup at 7:00 p.m. The Vikings will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight.
