Recap: Washington Patriots vs. North Hagerstown Hubs
The Washington Patriots took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday (and then some). They blew past North Hagerstown 71-40 at home. This was payback for Washington, who suffered a 52-42 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Washington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lexi Adams, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Miriangelis Rivera, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals and 3 blocks.
Washington's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for North Hagerstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against James Wood at 7:30 p.m. on December 7th. Hopefully James Wood focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 on Tuesday. As for North Hagerstown, they will be playing at home against Smithsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
