Arcadia put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Pasadena Bulldogs a 9-0 shutout. The Apaches have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Arcadia got a massive performance out of Aaron Prieto, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those runs were Prieto's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Matt Manzo, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Prieto wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Arcadia kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive contests.

Arcadia's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pasadena, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4-1.

Arcadia will have a chance to go back-to-back against Pasadena: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
