It was a good run, but Windward unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flagstaff Eagles. The shutout was out of character for the Wildcats seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Windward's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Flagstaff, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-6.

Windward wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Foothill on the 11th. As for Flagstaff, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against San Dieguito Academy on the 11th.
