Preview: Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals vs. Cabrillo Jaguars

Even though Poly scored an imposing 59 points on Saturday, Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary still came out on top. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary secured a 64-59 W over Poly. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary.
Donovan Desha was his usual excellent self, shooting 5-for-8 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 29 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Boardman, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Even though Cabrillo has not done well against Woodrow Wilson recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Cabrillo managed a 54-50 victory over Woodrow Wilson. The victory was just what Cabrillo needed coming off of a 61-40 loss in their prior matchup.
Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Cabrillo, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season.
