Volleyball Recap: Riverside-Durham Triumphs + How To Watch

The Riverside-Durham Pirates earned a 3-1 victory over the Eastern Alamance Eagles on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (92-86) Riverside-Durham actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 11-25, 25-21.

Olivia McKinney paced Riverside-Durham's offense, picking up nine kills. McKinney got some help from Liesl Rehder and her ten assists.

Riverside-Durham's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Eastern Alamance, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside-Durham will square off against St. Mary's at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastern Alamance, they will face off against Eastern Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
