Softball Recap: Grantsville Cowboys vs. Bear River Bears
Grantsville dropped their record down to 20-8 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins on the road. They fell just short of the Bear River Bears by a score of 5-4. The Cowboys were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.
Kira Hart made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Elise Smith, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
As for Bear River, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-2 record this season.
