Volleyball Recap: Timberland Gets the Win

Timberland won the last time they faced Fort Zumwalt South and things went their way on Saturday too. The T-Wolves came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the T-Wolves.

Timberland easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11.

Abby Schoene paced Timberland's offense, picking up five kills. Schoene got some help from Alexis Schmid and her nine assists. Schmid was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Timberland's win bumped their record up to 20-6-2. As for Fort Zumwalt South, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15-4 record this season.

Timberland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Parkway Central on the 11th. As for Fort Zumwalt South, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Notre Dame on the 11th.
