Recap: Vian Wolverines vs. Adair Warriors
The Vian Wolverines extended their postseason success on Friday against the Adair Warriors. Everything went their way against the Warriors as they made off with a 45-20 win. The result was nothing new for Vian, who have now won six contests by 25 points or more so far this season.
Vian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Masyn Wright, who rushed for 165 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 115 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Draighton Fletcher, who rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.
Vian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Adair, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.
Vian is on the road again on Friday and play against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on November 24th. Washington has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 575 points over their last 12 matches. Adair does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
