Albert Lea had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Faribault on Tuesday. The Tigers blew past the Falcons 13-0. The Tigers have beaten the Falcons the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Falcons has come to flipping the script.

Logan Davis made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Easton Schewe was incredible, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Andrew Westeng was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Albert Lea always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Albert Lea's record is now 8-4. As for Faribault, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
