Baseball Game Preview: Piketon Redstreaks vs. South Webster Jeeps

The Piketon Redstreaks will face off against the South Webster Jeeps at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Piketon is returning to their home field after beating Northwest on theirs, despite the fact Northwest has dominated at home this season. The Redstreaks skirted past the Mohawks 5-3. The victory continues a trend for the Redstreaks in their matchups with the Mohawks: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, South Webster never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on Glenwood with a sharp 12-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jeeps.

Piketon's victory bumped their record up to 8-14-1. As for South Webster, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.

Piketon was able to grind out a solid victory over South Webster when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 6-3. Do the Redstreaks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jeeps turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
