Basketball Recap: South Fork Comes Up Short

South Fork has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to the John Carroll Catholic Rams at home by a 62-45 margin on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bulldogs came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Rams are ranked 393rd).

South Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for John Carroll Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-10.

South Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for John Carroll Catholic, they will square off against Benjamin on Wednesday.
