Horizon Honors waltzed into their match on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 15-9 margin over the Heritage Academy Heroes. Considering the Eagles have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Logan Walker was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
In other batting news, Horizon Honors let Lucas Holweger and Chase Wilson run wild. Holweger went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double, while Wilson scored two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. That's the most RBI Holweger has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Max Miller, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his six plate appearances.
