Soccer Recap: North Chicago Takes a Loss

North Chicago was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Wauconda Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, North Chicago can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 360th, while Wauconda are ranked 72nd).

North Chicago's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Wauconda, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Chicago will welcome Westlake Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wauconda, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Mundelein at 6:15 p.m.
