Flag Football Game Preview: Chavez Titans vs. McNair Eagles + Official Tickets

Chavez hasn't had much luck against McNair recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Titans will take on the Eagles at 5:00 p.m.

On Monday, Chavez was just a hair shy of victory and fell 19-18 to Tokay.

Chavez's defeat came about despite a quality game from Valeria Vargas Torres, who threw for 198 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 73.7% of her passes.

Meanwhile, McNair came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Delta Kings with points to spare, taking the game 27-12. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Delta Kings are ranked 685th).

Chavez's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for McNair, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.

Chavez couldn't quite get it done against McNair in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 22-14. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
