Volleyball Recap: El Dorado's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

El Dorado came into Tuesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Amador Buffaloes on Tuesday. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Buffaloes, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 21-25, 26-24, 25-17.

Sofia Rodriguez was nothing short of spectacular: she had 23 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last eight matchups.

Rodriguez wasn't the only good servers: El Dorado was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. The Cougars are a perfect 7-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

El Dorado's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Amador, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

El Dorado has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Union Mine on the 25th. As for Amador, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Argonaut on the 25th.
