Volleyball Recap: Dakota Ridge Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dakota Ridge can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ralston Valley Mustangs on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Whitney Dewicki paced Dakota Ridge's offense, picking up 19 kills. Dewicki got some help from Katherine Weiser and her 35 assists.

Bella Goodall had an outrageously good game for Ralston Valley as she had 27 digs and three assists.

Dakota Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Ralston Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

Dakota Ridge has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Legend on the 14th. As for Ralston Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Rock Canyon on the 13th.
