Softball Recap: Duanesburg Eagles vs. Mayfield Panthers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Galway, Duanesburg was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mayfield Panthers, sneaking past 4-2. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Genevieve Rickert spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
