Last Thursday, Scholars Guild Academy was the victim of a tough 65-42 loss at the hands of the Lightning.
Meanwhile, even though Georgia Force Christian scored an imposing 71 points on Friday, Fideles Christian still came out on top. Fideles Christian took their game against the Blue Knights 78-71.
The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Xander Lipinski and Carter Mccarn. Lipinski had a great game and scored 27 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Meanwhile, Mccarn was balling out in the loss, scoring 15 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Scholars Guild Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Fideles Christian, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.
Scholars Guild Academy might still be hurting after the 68-42 loss they got from the Rangers in their previous matchup back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Fideles Christian's Gabe Reynolds, who scored 19 points along with five assists and three steals.
