Softball Recap: McKinley Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for McKinley's offense. They came up short against the Hoover Vikings on Wednesday, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on April 1st.

McKinley has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Hoover, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKinley will take on Ravenna at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hoover, they will square off against Jackson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Polar Bears have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
