Softball Preview: James Island Trojans vs. Summerville Green Wave
James Island is 0-3 against Summerville since March of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Trojans will welcome the Green Wave at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, James Island was able to grind out a solid win over Ashley Ridge, taking the game 5-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.
Mary Davis Hancock made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. Hancock was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024.
