Baseball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Arvada Bulldogs. The Saints were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Jefferson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was AJ Alvarado, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Arvada, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coincidentally, Jefferson and Arvada will both be playing Adams City the next time they take the field. Arvada will head out to face Adams City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Jefferson will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
