Soccer Game Preview: Port Isabel vs. Porter

The Port Isabel Tarpons are taking a road trip to take on the Porter Cowboys at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Port Isabel managed to keep up with Pioneer until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Port Isabel came up short against Pioneer, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Porter's offense. They fell just short of Weslaco East by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Porter now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Port Isabel, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
