Basketball Recap: Norman North Comes Up Short

Norman North was the 47-46 winner over Norman when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Norman North Timberwolves were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 53-52 to the Norman Tigers.

Norman North's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Norman, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Norman North will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Deer Creek at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Deer Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Norman North likes a good challenge. Norman will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Edmond Santa Fe at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
