Softball Recap: Oregon Comes Up Short

Oregon has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.78 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They came up short against the North Boone Vikings, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost nine in a row.

Oregon's record now sits at 18-9. As for North Boone, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Oregon will face off against Warren/Stockton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for North Boone, they will challenge Dixon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
