Baseball Recap: Ysleta Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ysleta can now relate to. They lost 9-1 to Seminole on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Ysleta has suffered since March 14th.

This is the second loss in a row for Ysleta and nudges their season record down to 18-15. As for Seminole, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 26-7.

Ysleta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seminole, they will challenge Estacado on Saturday. The Matadors will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
