While Smyrna's victory against Caesar Rodney wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Riders 7-6. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Riders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Smyrna's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Caesar Rodney, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
