D.C. Everest waltzed into their contest on Monday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Rhinelander Hodags. The Evergreens have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hodags, too.

D.C. Everest's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Rhinelander, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
