Baseball Game Preview: East Tigers vs. Linden-McKinley Panthers

East hasn't had much luck against Linden-McKinley recently, but that could start to change on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, East didn't have quite enough to beat Marion-Franklin and fell 7-6.

Meanwhile, Linden-McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-2 to Centennial.

Linden-McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for East, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

East came up short against Linden-McKinley in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 11-6. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
