Softball Recap: Kittitas Comes Up Short

Kittitas blew Cashmere out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Cashmere got their revenge. The Coyotes fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kittitas' loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Cashmere, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5.

Coming up, Kittitas will host Granger at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.9 runs per game on average), something the Coyotes will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Cashmere, they are taking a road trip to take on Naches Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rangers have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
