Baseball Recap: Verden Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Verden duked it out with Amber-Pocasset on Thursday. Verden came up short against Amber-Pocasset, falling 11-1. The Tigers have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Verden's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Amber-Pocasset, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Verden has already played their next contest, a 7-4 win against Atoka on the 27th. As for Amber-Pocasset, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Canute on the 28th.
