Soccer Recap: Chippewa Gets the Win

Chippewa proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by five) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mineral Ridge Rams, sneaking past 2-1.

Corbin Gasser and Parker West scored both of Chippewa's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Chippewa has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-10-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four matchups. As for Mineral Ridge, they moved to 11-4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

As of now, neither Chippewa nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
