Basketball Game Preview: Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes vs. Hallandale Chargers

Pompano Beach is 0-7 against Hallandale since December of 2014 but things could change on Tuesday. The Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes will head out on the road to face off against the Hallandale Chargers at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Pompano Beach lost 61-41 to Braddock on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Hallandale ended up a good deal behind Everglades on Monday and lost 59-41. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 551st, while the Gators are ranked 186th).

Pompano Beach's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Hallandale, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Pompano Beach came up short against Hallandale in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 49-38. Can Pompano Beach avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
