Alcester-Hudson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They blew past the Menno Wolves 3-0. The Cubs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 3, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

While Alcester-Hudson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alcester-Hudson is headed away from home for the first time to square off against St. Mary at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Menno, they will face off against Centerville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
