Basketball Recap: Arkoma Takes a Loss

Arkoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 56-25 defeat at the hands of the Talihina Golden Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 431st, while the Golden Tigers are ranked 142nd).

Arkoma's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Talihina, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arkoma has already played their next game (against Keota), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Talihina will welcome Wilburton at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th.
