Basketball Recap: Charter Oak Comes Up Short

Charter Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. The matchup between them and the Santa Fe Chiefs didn't end well, with the Charter Oak Chargers falling 62-43. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chiefs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Charter Oak's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Santa Fe, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Charter Oak will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wilson at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Santa Fe and El Dorado will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on December 23rd.
