            Baseball Preview: Camden Bulldogs vs. Hartsville Red Foxes        
        
		
        
        
            Camden is 1-9 against Hartsville since March of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Thursday. The Bulldogs will challenge the Red Foxes at 6:30  p.m. Camden is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last four games.
Last Tuesday, Camden was able to grind out a solid  win over Lancaster, taking the game  6-3.
Meanwhile,  Hartsville unfortunately witnessed the end of their  seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took  a  9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Andrew Jackson. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
 Hartsville saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brandon Anderson, who  went 1-for-3 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI. That  triple was  Anderson's first of the season.
 Camden's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-5. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Hartsville, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
 Camden beat Hartsville 7-4  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
