Basketball Game Preview: Ridgeview Wolf Pack vs. Tehachapi Warriors

The Ridgeview Wolf Pack and the Tehachapi Warriors will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Ridgeview knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Tehachapi likes a good challenge.

Ridgeview picked up another tournament win on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 63-35 win over Foothill. The Wolf Pack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 26 points or more this season.

While Tehachapi didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Edison by a score of 61-49 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Ridgeview's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Tehachapi, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Ridgeview didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Tehachapi in their previous matchup back in January of 2022, but they still walked away with a 56-52 victory. Will Ridgeview repeat their success, or does Tehachapi have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
