Baseball Recap: Green Level Comes Up Short

Green Level lost against Apex last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Green Level Gators took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Apex Cougars. The Gators just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Green Level saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Talley, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Gavin Rower also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Green Level's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Apex, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Green Level didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-1 win against Panther Creek on the 10th. As for Apex, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 8-1 victory against Cary on the 10th.
