Volleyball Game Preview: Sage Creek Bobcats vs. San Dieguito Academy Mustangs

The Sage Creek Bobcats will square off against the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs at 6:11 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Friday, Sage Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Canyon Crest Academy and fell 3-2. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sage Creek started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-27, 25-18, 25-14, 15-12.

Meanwhile, San Dieguito Academy came up short against Torrey Pines on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Sage Creek will have to contain Noah Ansaldo as he made an impact in San Dieguito Academy's last game. He had 14 digs and one assist. Ansaldo has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times he's played.

San Dieguito Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 20-14. As for Sage Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 15-19.
