Volleyball Recap: Webster's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Webster had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Shell Lake Lakers on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won four matches in a row.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 25-19.

Webster found their leader in sophomore Reese Grindell, who had nine digs and three aces.

When it comes to explaining why Shell Lake lost, don't look at Ella Marker. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and two aces. Marker is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Webster's victory bumped their record up to 32-2. As for Shell Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-17.

Looking ahead, Webster will square off against Clear Lake on Thursday. Shell Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
