Volleyball Recap: Grand Canyon Comes Up Short

Grand Canyon lost against St. Michael on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Phantoms came up short against the Cardinals, falling 3-0. The Phantoms have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-15.

Amelia Walls paced Grand Canyon's offense, picking up three kills. Walls got some help from Ellanina Nancasia and her seven assists.

Grand Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for St. Michael, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-10.

Grand Canyon has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Mayer on the 15th. As for St. Michael, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Red Mesa on the 14th.
