Basketball Recap: Paris Extends Winning Streak to Three

Paris had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Bourbon County Colonels by a score of 50-39. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-38 back in January.

Paris' win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Bourbon County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.

Coming up, Paris won't have much time to rest: their next game is against George Rogers Clark at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Paris has won seven straight at home dating back to last season, while George Rogers Clark won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Bourbon County, they will square off against Montgomery County at 7:45 p.m. on Monday.
