Soccer Recap: Neshaminy Takes a Loss

If Neshaminy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Conwell-Egan Catholic on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Skins fell just short of the Archbishop Wood Vikings by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Neshaminy were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Archbishop Wood apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Neshaminy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Archbishop Wood, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Neshaminy and Archbishop Wood will both be playing Council Rock South the next time they take the pitch. The Vikings will head out to face the Golden Hawks at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Skins will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
