Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dock Mennonite). They blew past The Christian Academy 17-3 on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Pioneers needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.
Avery Kutzner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits (and only one walk).
