Volleyball Game Preview: Morristown Colonials vs. Jefferson Township Falcons

Morristown hasn't had much luck against Jefferson Township recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Colonials will challenge the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Jefferson Township took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Morristown, who comes in off a win.

Morristown is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest win since April 2nd on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Vernon. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Colonials.

Meanwhile, Jefferson Township came up short against Randolph on Tuesday and fell 2-0. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost three in a row.

Jefferson Township now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Morristown, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

Morristown couldn't quite get it done against Jefferson Township when the teams last played back in April as they fell 2-0. Can the Colonials avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
