Bell was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in Eastern. The Eagles beat Franklin 27-0 earlier in the week.
Jordan scaled the state rankings by moving to 864 from 919 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bulldogs were able to make move up by losing to Windward 23-12.
Huntington Park's dynamic duo of Luis Suarez and Henry Diaz proved to be unstoppable against Van Nuys, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Suarez threw for 302 yards and 3 touchdowns and Diaz had 128 yards receiving. Dale Vannoy helped Huntington Park's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 68 yards.
The Spartans' dynamic duo of Suarez and Diaz proved tough for the Wolves to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Redani Diaz was a passing and rushing force as Bell bested the Panthers. He completed 22 passes for 311 yards and 3 touchdowns and also ran for 40 yards. Diaz's key target this week was Andrew Alderete, who caught 4 passes for 93 yards.
TyJon Delancy was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 29 carries, he ran for 217 yards as Garfield topped Van Nuys. Teammate Jacquan Shaw added to the ground attack by rushing for 55 yards.
Suarez put up the best numbers through the air as Rudy Fortiz's team defeated Brent Shano's team.
Delancy was a force in the backfield as the Bulldogs beat George Washington Prep.
Diaz was the best wideout in Eastern this week as the Spartans defeated the Wolves.
He was 12-24 with 0 interceptions.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Vannoy. The Huntington Park star has 10 catches for 247 yards.
Frank Medina's team took down Franklin 27-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Diaz during the win.
