It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Kouts had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over the Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Hawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kouts.

Logan Clark and Eli Harper did most of the damage at the plate: Clark scored three runs while going 3-for-5, while Harper scored two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Cooper Whitaker was another key contributor, going 3-for-5 with three RBI and a double.
