Basketball Recap: Sumrall Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Sumrall extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Ella Robertson. The Sumrall Bobcats enjoyed a cozy 51-36 win over the North Forrest Eagles on Saturday thanks in part to Robertson, who posted 21 points and eight rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Sumrall's points.

Sumrall's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for North Forrest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Sumrall will head out to face off against East Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sumrall has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. North Forrest and Mize will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
